2. Website information

The Website provides general information about KTM Solutions and the goods and services we may offer, including electrical, air-conditioning, solar, battery, preventative maintenance, service and project work.

We take reasonable care when preparing Website content. However, information may be general, incomplete, subject to change or not suitable for your particular property, equipment or circumstances.

Unless we expressly state otherwise in writing:

  • Website content is provided for general information only
  • descriptions of services are not an offer to provide those services on particular terms
  • photographs and examples are illustrative and may not represent the exact product, installation or result available to you
  • product specifications, models, availability, lead times and manufacturer requirements may change
  • any stated price, saving, performance figure, rebate or estimated result is indicative only
  • Website content does not form part of a quotation or contract for work

We may change, remove or update Website content without notice.

3. No technical or professional advice

Information on the Website is not a substitute for a site inspection, testing, technical assessment or advice from an appropriately qualified and licensed person.

Electrical, air-conditioning, solar and battery requirements vary according to factors such as property design, existing infrastructure, electrical supply, equipment condition, usage, installation environment, applicable standards and network or authority requirements.

You should not rely solely on Website information to:

  • carry out electrical or technical work
  • diagnose a fault or safety issue
  • select the capacity or suitability of equipment

  • determine compliance with legislation, standards, manufacturer instructions or network requirements

Electrical and other regulated work must only be performed by persons who hold the licences, registrations and qualifications required by law.

If there is an electrical emergency, fire, smoke, burning smell, electric shock, damaged equipment or other immediate danger, do not rely on the Website or an online enquiry. Keep clear of the hazard, contact emergency services on 000 where appropriate and arrange assistance from the relevant emergency service, electricity distributor or suitably qualified contractor.

4. Enquiries, bookings and quotations

Submitting an enquiry, requesting a quotation or contacting us through the Website does not:

  • guarantee that KTM Solutions will accept or perform the requested work
  • reserve an appointment unless we confirm it
  • create a binding contract
  • confirm the scope, availability, price or completion date of any work
  • amount to acceptance of emergency or after-hours attendance

A booking is only confirmed when KTM Solutions expressly confirms it. A contract for quoted work is formed only in accordance with the acceptance requirements contained in the applicable quotation, proposal, work order or service terms.

You are responsible for ensuring that information supplied through the Website is accurate, complete and not misleading. You must tell us about any relevant access restrictions, known hazards, asbestos, unsafe conditions or other circumstances that may affect a site attendance.

For urgent work, you should telephone KTM Solutions on 07 3813 0067. An online enquiry may not be monitored continuously and should not be used for emergencies.

The final price and scope of work may depend on a site inspection and matters including access, existing conditions, required labour, materials, permits, travel, testing, rectification work and work outside normal business hours.

Products displayed on the Website may be replaced or superseded by equivalent or updated models. Product availability is subject to supplier stock, manufacturer lead times and other matters outside our reasonable control.

Any final price, inclusions, exclusions, assumptions, payment requirements and validity period will be stated in the applicable quotation, proposal or service terms.

6. Solar, battery and energy information

Any solar generation, battery capacity, electricity saving, payback period, return, rebate or energy-cost information shown on the Website is an estimate or general example unless expressly confirmed for a particular customer in writing.
